- I plan the “what” by roughly knowing what I will eat rest of the day so I can balance the nutrients. E.g. if I know I will have chicken with rice for dinner (protein + carbs), I will order salmon for lunch (protein + fats).

Cut by high – best burger I have ever had. I usually treat myself on Saturdays. It is super tasty, the ingredients are fresh and it comes with half of the calories of a regular burger. If you went to the gym that day and need extra carbs, make sure to add the truffle aioli sweet potato fries.
The Acai spot – I usually order acai bowl on stressful work afternoons. The naturally occurring sugar in the fruits feeds my brain and the amazing taste feeds my soul :). I opt for the option with yoghurt and Brazilian nuts. This way the protein and fats balance out the sugar so I don’t get an insulin spike and feel hungry shortly after.
We moms are busy creatures. We want our families to be healthy and well fed. But we also want to have free time to enjoy time with them.
